Picksan Lice Stop: Shampoo
The MelAza extract consists of a special neem seed extract that is extracted from the neem tree. Neem seed has been used in India to treat lice for thousands of years. Picksan Lice Stop cares for hair, is soft on the scalp and has a pleasant scent. Picksan Lice Stop leaves hair smooth and easy to comb. Sufficient for 2 intensive washes (dependant on hair length).

Lice suck blood, resulting in small wounds on the scalp. This means that the shampoo comes into direct contact with the scalp and can permeate it. It is therefore dangerous to use chemical products as these may cause harm. Picksan Lice Stop contains natural, harmless ingredients that act effectively and safely against lice.
Removes all lice in a few steps...
- Wet the hair with warm water and lightly pat dry with a towel.
- Dependent on the hair length, spread 1/4 to 1/2 bottle of Picksan Lice Stop evenly through the hair and massage the scalp. Ensure that all hairs are soaked with the lice shampoo.
- Leave the shampoo on for 15-20 minutes, covering the shoulders with a towel.
- Rinse the hair thoroughly with warm water and allow to dry.
- Comb the hair with a lice comb. Preferably use a metal comb and comb from the top down, beginning at the roots.
- Repeat the treatment outlined above ten days later.
Important: lice are killed, but lice eggs are not. This is because the active ingredient has difficulty permeating through the eggshell. The lice that later hatch from the eggs will be killed during the second treatment.
Given some eggs require nine days to hatch, we recommend the second treatment is performed after ten days. Of course it is also possible to already perform the second treatment after five days, and the third and final treatment again after five days. This is not harmful for the hair or scalp.
Once you have removed the initial infestation use Picksan “No Lice Preventative Spray” to ensure you remain Lice Free.
Top ten misconceptions about lice...
You get lice if you are unhygienic and have long hair that you do not look after...
Wrong: everyone can get lice that comes into contact with someone that has lice.

Wrong: normal shampoo does not remove lice.
